I want to make clear it's not that they are loading slow. Here is the latest test map I was able to replicate the issue in. Both times it happened around the point where I start to put down natural wonders and territories in the map. The map editor loading has been very fast but now it gets to the point where it won't load a not very heavily edited map even after 20+ minutes of sitting at the load screen.
After about an hour or so of editing a huge map when I save and try to load the map in the the map editor again the load screen never finishes. I've been toying around with the map editor for the past few hours.
